Nurul A. Chowdhury, MD, MPH, began his medical career in Bangladesh when he graduated in 1983 from Dahka Medical College. After medical school, Dr. Chowdhury completed an internship in 1983 also at Dahka Medical College, followed by a residency at George Washington General Hospital in Washington, DC, in 1991. He has since become a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society of Internal Medicine. Through his hard work, Dr. Chowdhury has led a prosperous career in internal medicine, now practicing at New Horizons Health Services in Maryland.
