Syeda Tahera, MD, began her long, successful career after graduating with a medical degree in 1960 from NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, Osmania Medical College. Following medical school, Dr. Tahera completed an internship and residency at Berkshire Medical Center. Before starting her career in the United States, Dr. Tahera practiced medicine in India for five years and the United Kingdom for three. Her success, she says, comes from total dedication and being married to medicine. Today, Dr. Tahera is working at Horizon Family Medical, in Middletown, new York.
