Michel Jose Charles, MD, received his medical degree in 1983 from Universidad del Noreste, Escuela de Medicina. Upon completion of school, Dr. Charles moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he completed his internship in 1991, residency in 1994, and fellowship in 1997 at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Since becoming a doctor, Dr. Charles has become a member of the American Diabetes Association, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the Haitian Association Abroad. He also has been a faculty member at Brookdale University Medical Center since 1997. Today, Dr. Charles pracitices internal medicine at Brookdale University Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
