Bijoy K. Mehta, MD, received his medical degree in 1966 from Darbhanga Medical College of India. He went on to complete his internship in 1966 at Bergen Pines County Hospital in Bergan, New Jersey, followed by a residency at Wayne State University Affiliated Hospitals in Detroit, Michigan in 1969. It was also at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center where in 1972 he completed his fellowship. Dr. Mehta has become a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Association of Cardiologists, and credits his success to hard work. Today, Dr. Mehta practices in Queens, New York, at Queens-Long Island Medical Group, PC.
