Lucie M. Khouri, MD, received her medical degree in 1994 from The University of Montreal. Following school she went to University Laval, in Quebec, Canada to complete her internship and residency. Dr. Khouri obtained her fellowship training oculoplastic surgery at the University of Ottawa, Canada. Since becoming a doctor, she has become a member of the Association of Cosmetic Surgeons of Canada and the Canadian Ophthalmologists Society. In 2001 Khouri co-authored an article in the peer reviewed Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus with the article 'Bilateral Subperiosteal Orbital Hematomas in a Child With Sickle Cell Disease'. Today, she practices oculoplastic surgery at Clinique Ophtalmologique De Carie in Quebec, Canada.

Is a warm or cold compress better for conjunctivitis?
For conjunctivitis: WARM compresses (not hot) so you can use warm compresses to clean pus and/or secretions.
