He began his career after obtaining his medical degree at Oklahoma University College of Medicine, followed by a residency in 2007 at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. He then went on to receive his fellowship training in Orthopedic Traumatology at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington in 2008. Shortly after he joined the OU Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation and has authored and co-authored four chapters in 'Harborview Illustrated Tips and Tricks in Fracture Surgery'.
