Lolanda Russo-Menna, MD, MED, obtained her medical degree in 1986 from Universita Degli Studi Di Roma. She then completed her residency in the United States at New York University Medical Center Tisch Hospital in New York City, in 1999, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia at the Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Among Dr. Russo-Menna's multiple achievements are multiple publications including 'Gender Differences in Cerebral Ascorbate Levels and Ascorbate Loss in Ischemia,' in the Neuroreport Journal in 1995, 'Differential Compartmentalization of Brain Ascorbate and Glutathione Between Neurons and Glia,' in the Neuroscience Journal in 1998, and 'The Hutchinson- Gilford Progeria Syndrome: Report of a Case Minerva Anestesiologica,' in 2009. She is also an Assistant Professor at Virgina Commonwealth University School of Medicine and practices medicine at VCU-MCV Department of Anesthesiology in Virginia.
