  • How often should crowns be replaced?

    It is not necessary for crowns to be replaced unless there is decay underneath the crown. Sometimes if there needs to be a root canal done after the crown, we may replace it. With excellent home care and routine hygiene visits a well fitting crown can last a lifetime. READ MORE

  • How do you get rid of mouth bacteria?

    Bacteria that causes periodontal disease is best taken care of with scheduling a cleaning with your hygienist every 3months. At home rinse with purple Listerine. READ MORE

  • Should I floss after every meal?

    Flossing after every meal is perfect for prevention of decay and periodontal disease. If you are susceptible to decay, we recommend also using a mouthwash that contains fluoride. Oral B has one, or Listerine Zero/ Purple. Great job, you will not regret your efforts. READ MORE

  • I suddenly have a gap in between my front teeth. Why?

    If you increased bite pressure on your front teeth, movement can happen. Or, if you have active gum disease, the teeth can splay apart. READ MORE

  • Why does only one tooth area bleed when I floss?

    Sometimes, if you have an area where food traps this is an irritant, we can repair this with a filling to tighten the contact between the teeth. There could be a filling that is not smooth, or if there is a crown, it could have cement under the gum line. Decay can also bring bacteria to the area, and gum disease can cause bleeding. READ MORE

    Great guy hands down awesome work my teeth were a nightmare. now I'm smiling and without a care and I now get complements on my teeth. I'm deathly afraid of needles and he has helped a lot with that as well thanks John your the man... Thanks again. I would only recommend this guy.

    My root canal was as close to being FUN, as the procedure can be. Dr. John always makes me laugh! His staff is the friendliest in town! Dr. John has treated our whole family for 41 years.

    I'm a patience of Dr John Milne for over 25 years ,after he took over Dr Tavares I'm very happy that I made that decision .Dr Milne is a true professional in every sense of A word ,I'm a little sad but a the same time happy he will be retiring soon . I have just Have to say he is the best dentist I have cross in my life .thank you for all your Excellent care .!!!

    Dr. Milne is one of the best dentists, l have been a patient of. For someone who is phobic, he is sooo calm, and understanding! He makes me very comfortable and there is no judging when he works with me and my fears! In fact, I've even fallen asleep during a root canal procedure he was performing! I couldn't believe it, and neither could anyone else who knows me! Lol But it's the truth!! I wouldn't go anywhere else and couldn't speak higher of him or his team!

    Dr. Milne is a very nice doctor with great experience. He always make phone calls after the appointment asking about our feeling of the treatment and willing to help with any questions and concerns. Never feel disappointed choosing this dental office.
