Dr. LaPorta is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in his field, he maintains a professional membership with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He serves as the local team physician for the Boston Red Sox, Bishop Verot Highschool and Florida Southwestern.
