Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Joelle Rogal, who serves patients in Harrison, New York.

Licensed to practice medicine in New York and New York, Dr. Rogal is a board-certified head and neck surgeon with subspecialty training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Her areas of expertise include surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, and facial reconstruction. At present, she sees patients at Cosmetic Surgery Associates of New York in Harrison, New York.

A firm believer that beauty is about being the best version of yourself, Dr. Rogal feels that the best results are natural results without obvious signs of injectables or surgery. Using the most advanced techniques, her goal is to help each patient achieve a natural appearance with minimal downtime. As a physician and artist, she is exceptionally skilled at identifying what contributes to an aging appearance, and recommending treatments that will help a patient look more youthful and refreshed. 

On the subject of her academic background, Dr. Rogal attended Cornell University, where she graduated with a degree in biology. She then went on to obtain her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. Subsequently, she pursued surgical training in head & neck surgery at the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan. She then completed an Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the Glasgold Group under Drs. Mark and Robert Glasgold.

A member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the doctor is board-certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, which serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It can be divided into two main categories – reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. A plastic surgeon’s primary responsibility is performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and they use a variety of reparative and reconstructive techniques to get the job done.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rogal enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She is a longtime artist and enjoys skiing, exercising, as well as cooking healthy, delicious meals for her family and friends.
