Get to know Physician Assistant Julie A. Seminara, who serves the population of Dillon, Montana. Julie completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and US History with a focus on Russian Speaking Countries in 2007 from Oregon State University. Changing her focus to Science she received her Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology and Neuroscience from Montana State University in 2007. Wanting to further her education she then received her Master in Physician Assistant Studies and received her Physician Assistant Certification from the Idaho State University in 2011, giving her nearly a decade of experience in her field. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Julie currently practices with Beaverhead Urgent Care as the primary provider, under the supervision of Dr. Curt Kurtz. When not working she enjoys Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, Cooking, Reading, Snowshoeing, Rockhounding and Camping all with the company of her 3 dogs. Physician Assistants are healthcare professionals who assists physicians in the practice of medicine as a part of a healthcare team while collaborating physicians and other providers. Physician Assistants are concerned with preventing and treating human illness and injury by providing a plethora of health care services under a supervising physician. Their scope of practice varies by jurisdiction and healthcare setting.
