  • Does stretching help back pain?

Absolutely! When you properly stretch your back, you help reduce muscle spasm, open up disc space and improve mobility. Stretches should be done in am and pm to help with the problems created by your sleep posture and your working posture. I recommend to my patients to do knee to chest stretches to help with Low Back Pain, Chin Tucks to help with Neck Pain, and many other stretches for all other areas of the body. READ MORE

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain and back pain. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself without the use of medication or surgery.

When Dr. Malchar is not pursuing her daily passion for improving patients’ lives, one can find her in her garden or spending time with her husband, four children, and a wonderful grandson.
