About

I am triple board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry. I provide treatment for a wide range of complex mental health issues in children, adolescents, and adults, using medications (psychopharmacology), psychotherapy, diet, exercise, and alternative modalities of treatment. My focus is the overall well being of my patients and their families, and I adhere to an exceptional standard of care. While I am sure to pay attention to the details provided by my patients, I do my best never to lose sight of the big picture. I obtained my undergraduate degree from UCLA, and my M.D. from Penn State. After graduating from medical school, I completed six years of residency and advanced fellowship training in adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry (serving as Chief Fellow), and forensic psychiatry (serving as a Clinical Instructor at the USC Keck School of Medicine). Presently, I am the Founder of Premier Mind Institute in Newport Beach (www.premiermindinstitute.com), and am a member of Mental Health Center in LA (www.mentalhealthctr.com). Additionally, I serve as Medical Director for the UCI Adolescent Partial program, and am Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCI School of Medicine, teaching fellows/medical students.
