Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Eid Guirguis, who serves the population of Spring Hill, Florida.

Dr. Guirguis graduated with his Medical Degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. After obtaining his Medical Degree he relocated to the United States and completed his pediatric residency with the Columbia University Medical Center, and the Affiliate of Harlem Hospital Department of Pediatrics. 

Dr. Guirguis is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. To stay up to date in his field he remains a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been practicing medicine since 2005, giving him over a decade of experience in his field. Dr. Guirguis served at Staten Island University Hospital, as well as the Harlem Hospital Pediatric Emergency department and Pediatric Inpatient Services. He began his relocation to Florida at Spring Hill Regional Hospital – Pediatric Emergency Department; until March 2010, when he opened his own pediatric practice and after hours care, Oceans Pediatrics in Hernando County to better serve our community.

Dr. Guirguis has been awarded the Patients Choice Award in 2012 and 2013, as well as been named the Most Compassionate Doctor in 2012. He attributes his professional success to helping patients get better and providing a better life for his kids, as well as the support from his family and his wife Enas Shenoda.
