He went on to complete his Residency and Fellowship at the University of South Florida Medical Center. His career has been highlighted by being a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology; and by having published in renowned medical journals several scientific studies on the subject of rheumatology. Making a difference, he says, is his inspiration and motivation in life.   Dr Mahfood practices rheumatology and internal medicine  in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  He is on the staff of St Lucie Medical Center.
