Shekar Kota, MD, a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, obtained his medical degree in 1978 from the Mahatma Gandhi University Medical College in India. He continued to complete his medical training in the United States, specifically, his residency at Saint Josephs Medical Center and fellowship at the Medical College of Ohio. Kota is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Compassion and best care to patients, he says, are keys to his success. Today, he practices endocrinology at the Providence Endocrine and Diabetes Care and Providence Medical Center in Kansas.
