R. Preston Lamberton, MD, obtained his medical degree in 1978 from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. After receiving his medical degree, he continued to complete his internship and residency at Rhode Island Hospital; fellowship at Albany Medical Center in New York. Dr. Lamberton is a member of the Endocrinology Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, and American Thyroid Association. Great mentors and dedication to excellence, he says, are instrumental to his success. Today, Lamberton practices endocrinology as Director of Endocrine Services at Joslin Diabetes Center and Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, Connecticut.
