Dale Avry Helman, MD, obtained his medical degree in 1984 from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He then completed his internship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 1985; followed by his residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic in 1986. Dr. Helman is a member of the American Association of Neurology, American Medical Association, and California Neurology Association. Good role models and teachers, he says, are instrumental to his success. Today, Helman practices neurology at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula in California.
