Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Rimma Finkel, who serves patients in Chandler and Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Finkel is a double board-certified plastic surgeon who is currently serving patients at her own private practices in Chandler and Phoenix, Arizona. Supported by highly qualified and educated staff members, she serves her patients in an inviting ambiance to make them feel comfortable and to ease their anguishes. 

“My services are here to help you feel better, look better, and have more confidence in yourself. If you are here for reconstructive surgery after your mastectomy, I want to help you be who you were before. If you are here for aesthetic reasons, I want to assist you with your cosmetic goals. Professionally, Dr. Finkel is affiliated with several hospitals, including Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, Scottsdale Health Care, Chandler Regional Medical Center, and Good Samaritan Medical Center. 

Back in 2001, she earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She then went on to complete her internship and residency in general surgery at Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix, followed by her fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. 

A member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Finkel is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

Attributing her success to hard work, she is also board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery, an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the face and body. As a plastic surgeon, Dr. Finkel specializes in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the breast, cosmetic surgery of the face and body, body contouring, and other types of reconstructive surgery.

In her spare time, Dr. Finkel enjoys ballroom dancing.
