After wisdom teeth extraction jaw stiffness is common and usually takes about 2 weeks to feel normal. The ice pack in the first 24 hours helps with the swelling and the painkillers (depending on which one is prescribed) can help with internal inflammation. Massaging the jaw when taking warm showers also helps. If the jaw is very stiff, then short-term muscle relaxants may be prescribed at the discretion of your dentist. Should I have gum pain after getting a tooth pulled?
Usually after a tooth extraction, the gum takes about 4-6 weeks to feel normal. The first 2 weeks, just take care of that area and baby it. Hello, We always need to make sure that there is enough attached gingiva before we do an implant procedure. If there are receding gums and the gum tissue is thin, then it is best to discuss with your dentist and to get the area checked for keratinized tissue (attached gingiva). Brought my 3yr old granddaughter for minor cleaning and fluoride treatment. Was surprised and impressed at the way she was approached by Dr. Sheena and made to feel at home. The true definition of a family dentist. I would not send my only daughter here if I did not have complete trust in Dr Bhatia. If you don't choose her your chance of poor dentistry work and serious dental problems are increased!! Sheena is the best! She fixed my chipped tooth (chipped since I was in middle or high school) and it looks great! You can't even tell that it was fixed because the resin matches perfectly with the color of my teeth. I've been coming here for several years now and I'm definitely pleased with the service! The rest of the staff is great, too! We brought in our two year old for her first dentist visit (no cavities) and everyone was so patient with her!

In the initial consultation, she sat down w/ me & my teen and thoroughly explain the Invisalign process and answer all my questions. Sheena is the best! I've been coming here for 5 years. It had been about 5-6 years that I'd gone without seeing a dentist, so I was kind of nervous on my first visit. Dr. Bhatia is the most gentle dentist I have ever seen. She is very professional. We got another dentist's opinion on her recommended treatment and not only was her treatment plan corroborated but the cost was a little lower and she did not try to insist that other work was needed. Sheena is the best! I've been coming here for 5 years. It had been about 5-6 years that I'd gone without seeing a dentist, so I was kind of nervous on my first visit. I had a lot of cavities due to my long gap in seeing a dentist. I had a lot of work done with Sheena to get my teeth healthy again! Sheena was the gentlest and best dentist I ever had. I'm so happy having finally found such a great dentist! She really helps me prevent having future problems. Plus the rest of the staff is amazing!

Dr. Bhatia is the most gentle dentist I have ever seen. She is very professional. We got another dentist's opinion on her recommended treatment and not only was her treatment plan corroborated but the cost was a little lower and she did not try to insist that other work was needed. Dr. Bhatia is amazing. She will explain everything and make you feel like you want to go to the dentist. They have sunglasses and tvs to watch so you can be distracted from the various tools in your mouth. All the prices and what procedures are being performed are always explained before anything is done so you can ask questions. I highly recommend dr. Bhatia for all dental needs.
