Yes initially as they are settling In you might have to get them adjusted and polished . They can cause sores and Gum pain . Two cavities, one tooth, big decay?
Every Back tooth has 6 surfaces so on your case it looks like 2 of those surfaces have cavities . Which is not uncommon and since you are proactive and getting them taken care of it should be fine . It does not look like they have gone too far into the tooth but x rays Would tell better . So don’t worry and get them taken care of . From the pictures it looks like you should be ok . Is Invisalign as good as oral braces?
Both will straighten teeth but Invisalign needs more compliance because the aligners have to be worn 21-22 hours a day and the Positive is that you can keep your oral hygiene better with aligners / Invisalign since you can take them off and brush and floss . With braces your compliance is mainly with elastics stage but then it’s more effort to keep your oral hygiene clean. . So it really depends on the person . How long do new dentures take to settle?
There is a transition period for dentures . Usually a couple of weeks . Expect sore spots and sometimes Slight inflammation . Thank you for your e mail . Sone pressure/ soreness can be felt after an extraction but should be getting better every day . Stay away from eating extremely hot foods or anything with sharp edges like tortilla chips . Try keeping it clean but don’t keep pulling your cheek to see how it’s looking . Tlc the area for about 2 weeks and avoid heavy lifting/ jumping / or running or any strenuous exercise . If anything unusual or any pain or pressure increase please contact your dentist . Is it painful to get a crown put on your tooth?
A crown is usually placed if there is a large existing filling or a large decay that compromises the tooth structure . Usually not a painful procedure . If the nerve is close to the decay or the old filling then can get symptoms and your dentist would let you know if that is the case . As long as the food is soft you should be good eating it after 1-2 days Just keep the extraction area clean with warm salt water rinses . When can I brush my teeth with toothpaste after an extraction?
The extraction site is tender so be careful for about 2 weeks. To clean the gums very gently you can dip gauze in a mouthwash and just carefully and gently clean around the area, but do not poke or touch the site itself with your fingers or the tongue. Dentures take sone time to get used to. Initially, you will have to see the dentist a couple of times so he can adjust the dentures and recommend or give you some topical medicine for the sore areas. Brought my 3yr old granddaughter for minor cleaning and fluoride treatment. Was surprised and impressed at the way she was approached by Dr. Sheena and made to feel at home. Dr. Bhatia has the most gentlest and caring manner that I have ever experienced. She utilizes the latest state-of-the-art professional dental equipment. Her staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. The true definition of a family dentist. I would not send my only daughter here if I did not have complete trust in Dr Bhatia. If you don't choose her your chance of poor dentistry work and serious dental problems are increased!! Sheena is the best! She fixed my chipped tooth (chipped since I was in middle or high school) and it looks great! You can't even tell that it was fixed because the resin matches perfectly with the color of my teeth. I've been coming here for several years now and I'm definitely pleased with the service! The rest of the staff is great, too! We brought in our two year old for her first dentist visit (no cavities) and everyone was so patient with her!

Dr. Bhatia is a professional, skilled & competent dentist. She also has a very kind, sweet & gentle nature about her. In the initial consultation, she sat down w/ me & my teen and thoroughly explain the Invisalign process and answer all my questions. In addition her assistant Karen, emailed a video to review at home w/ my husband that reinforced the process. They were very accommodating to appointment scheduling and follow up, which positively enhanced the whole treatment from start to finish. Sheena is the best! I've been coming here for 5 years. It had been about 5-6 years that I'd gone without seeing a dentist, so I was kind of nervous on my first visit. I had a lot of cavities due to my long gap in seeing a dentist. I had a lot of work done with Sheena to get my teeth healthy again! Sheena was the gentlest and best dentist I ever had. Dr. Bhatia is the most gentle dentist I have ever seen. She is very professional. We got another dentist's opinion on her recommended treatment and not only was her treatment plan corroborated but the cost was a little lower and she did not try to insist that other work was needed. I would recommend her to family and friends.

Sheena is the best! I've been coming here for 5 years. It had been about 5-6 years that I'd gone without seeing a dentist, so I was kind of nervous on my first visit. I had a lot of cavities due to my long gap in seeing a dentist. I had a lot of work done with Sheena to get my teeth healthy again! Sheena was the gentlest and best dentist I ever had. I'm so happy having finally found such a great dentist! She really helps me prevent having future problems. Plus the rest of the staff is amazing!

We got another dentist's opinion on her recommended treatment and not only was her treatment plan corroborated but the cost was a little lower and she did not try to insist that other work was needed. Dr. Bhatia is amazing. She will explain everything and make you feel like you want to go to the dentist. They have sunglasses and tvs to watch so you can be distracted from the various tools in your mouth. All the prices and what procedures are being performed are always explained before anything is done so you can ask questions. I highly recommend dr. Bhatia for all dental needs.
