Using her gift of art as well as love for medicine, Dr. Dennis is the Owner of Hardwood Forest Dentistry in Cleveland, Texas. She offers comprehensive dental care for all ages, focusing on building relationships of trust with children, teens, adults, and seniors alike.
Proudly providing a large variety of treatments in one convenient location, some of the services that she offers include: family dentistry, cleanings & prevention, cosmetic dentistry, periodontal disease, restorations, pediatric dentistry, and dental emergencies (on a case-by-case basis with same-day and after-hours treatment available).
She strongly believes in the verse, “To whom much is given, much will be required.” With this, she intends to use evidence-based dentistry to give her patients the best possible care, always looking out for their best interest.
While starting out with humble beginnings, Dr. Dennis graduated with Honors from UT Southwestern Allied Health Sciences School with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. She then spent 4 years conducting critical laboratory tests as a Medical Technologist for Baylor Healthcare and Children’s Medical Center. Driven by the urge to seek a higher education as well as to have more direct patient interaction, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. She attended The University of Texas School of Dentistry located in Houston, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
On a more personal note, Dr. Dennis is married with two sons. When she is not providing care, she is either trying to keep up with her sons or attending Continuing Education classes to make sure she stays up to date with the changes in dentistry. She enjoys travelling with her family, learning new cultures, and visiting different countries such as Canada, United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mexico and hopes to visit more.
