Carl Yacoub, MD, works at Comprehensive Neurology in Newark, Delaware.  The idea of comprehensive neurology is not to treat the patient as a mere symptom, but treat the person as a whole.  Dr. Yacoub prides himself on being a sole practitioner and an excellent option to get personalized treatment not often offered in a hospital setting.  Dr. Yacoub's primary research has centered on autism, critical illness neuropathy, and Landau Kleffner Sydrome.  In addition to his own practice, Dr. Yacoub treats at A. I. DuPont hospital for Children in the emergency room and was in charge of the epilepsy and migraine clinics at a VA Hospital in Elsmere.  Though he treats all ages, his specialty is neurology of children.
