Richard St Hilaire, MD, received his degree in 1971 from the Université Laval, which is also where he completed his internship and residency. This university is one of the first in North American to be French speaking. It is over 150 years old and has grown into a school with 400 academic programs in 17 faculties and 235 research Centres, Chairs and Institutes. Dr. St Hilaire has since become a member of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society, and has had a successful private practice for the past 46 years.
