Faro, MD, is a noted radiology and brain imaging expert at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He is co-founder and Past President of the American Society of Functional Neuroradiology, devoted to bringing this new specialty into practice.  At Temple University, he is a Professor and Vice Chairperson of Radiology, Director of Neuroradiology, and Director of the Brain Imaging Center.  He is the co-author of 3 textbooks, the most recent called Functional Neuroradiology: Principles and Clinical Applications.  Dr. Faro is also the author of 70 peer-reviewed articles, and 17 book chapters.  A research enthusiast as well as a doctor, Dr. Faro's name has been listed as principal and co-investigator on more than 20 grants.
