I. A. Jeremy Sloan, MD, FRCP(c), DACPM, is a visionary in the field of pain management.  He has lectured on 6 out of the 7 continents, and pioneered the usage of steroids in bypass patients and the morphine anesthesia before pediatric surgery, among many other "firsts".  Dr. Sloan is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto, and was recipient of the highest award possible by the Canadian Standards Association, the Jenkins Award.  He is a known philanthropist, on the Board of the African Medical Research and Education Foundation, which gives aid to people in Africa and the Americas. His home base, the Headache and Pain Relief Centre, specializes in treating migraines and other chronic pain issues.  Their interdisciplinary team treats everything from sports injuries, to jaw troubles, to phantom pains.
