About

Magdalena Oleszak, MD, FAAP, began her career in Poland, when the county was under intense persecution and scrutiny.  She, her husband and son left after she completed medical school and settled on Long Island, New York.  She is now a Partner at Kids 1st Pediatrics in Port Jefferson Station (and Wading River), NY. Dr. Oleszak was awarded by Rotary International for assisting foreign pediatric patients.  She was instrumental in creating the Kids 1st Wellness Program and the Art of Breastfeeding Program.  Both of these programs emphasize proper wellness and nutrition for babies and children.  Dr. Oleszak is a devotee of yoga and an accomplished photographer.
