Orlando G. Florete, Jr., MD is a board-certified anesthesiologistand pain management specialist currently serving his patients at Orles Pain Management and Regenerative Medicine Group, PA located in Florida. A native of the Philippines, Dr. Florete, Jr. began his medical career in 1981 when he earned his medical degree from Cebu Institute of Medicine in Cebu City. From there, he attended the University of the Philippines – Manila and completed his internship in 1982, his residency in Internal Medicine 1985 and his fellowship in Cardiology in 1986. He further his training by completing his Fellowship in Critical Care Medine at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 1989 and his residency in Anesthesiology also at the University of Flordia in 1993, with additional training in Pain Medicine at the University of Kentucky and University of Virginia. In order to provide his patients with the specialized care they need, Dr. Florete, Jr. currently holds expertise in pain medicine and general anesthesiology as well as regenerative medicine. Furthermore, he is affiliated with Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, St. Vincencent Hospital and Memorial Medical Center. In order to remain up to date in his field, Dr. Florete, Jr. maintains a professional membership with the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the Florida Society of International Pain Medicine, and the American Society of Anesthesia. As a testament to his success, he has received many awards and accolades throughout his career including the Community Service Award from the University of Florida College of Medicine, the Winthrop Stearns Scholarship Award, and the Patients' Choice Award. On a more personal note, he is fluent in English and Tagalog.
