With a broad educational background, Dr. Tumula graduated with his medical degree from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences in India in 2002. He then went on to perform his internship and residency in internal medicine at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, New Jersey in 2011. This was followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Boston University Medical Center in Massachusetts in 2015.
With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
