I’m not certain why your doctor would be saying this. Patients get IUDs removed and replaced on a regular basis. You need to speak to your doctor as to why she doesn’t want you to have another placed. READ MORE
What does a watery discharge mean?
It can be an infection or it can be normal changes of the body. I advise that you see a gynecologist to evaluate the discharge and possibly do cultures. READ MORE

Are hot flashes during urination normal?
Hot flashes are not associated with urination. This is not necessarily a serious health problem but I would seek the advice of a uro- gynecologist. READ MORE
How popular are water births?
I personally do not have experience in water births as an OB/GYN. Usually this is done by midwives. I would recommend you find a local practice and sit for a consultation. Not many midwives offer home births. Several hospitals have the tub that would allow you to have a water birth. Only issue it is not in every room and is based on availability. READ MORE
What if I miss a week straight of birth control pills?
If you have missed a whole week you will likely get a menses. I would recommend starting a new pill pack. READ MORE
