Ali Choucair, MD, works at the Brain Tumor Center, an amalgamation of the Norton Neuroscience Institute and the Norton Cancer Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. This is the only comprehensive center of its kind in this region.  A specialist in brain tumors, Dr. Choucair is a principal investigator for a clinical trial on patients with brain tumors that is internationally known.  He also does work with the Radiation therapy oncology group tumor committee, to discuss how radiation oncology helps to shrink tumors. During his undergraduate career, Dr. Choucair received a research stipend from the National Science Foundation, to commence his current research.  Together with his team at Norton, they are making new strides in the treatment of brain cancer.
