Get to know Internist Dr. Stephanie Ng, who serves patients in Fredericksburg,Virginia.

Dr. Ng is a respectable internist who is affiliated with the Ailment Wellness Center. 

Ailment Wellness Center utilizes functional or anti-aging medicine in order to prevent, identify, treat, and reverse age-related diseases. The goal of functional medicine (anti-aging) is not simply to prolong the total number of years of a person’s life but to also ensure that those years are lived in a productive and satisfying manner.

Back in 2009, Dr. Ng earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX.

Following her education, the doctor served in the US Army for 14 years to include a tour in Afghanistan. To advance her professional efforts, she remains a member of the American Osteopathic Association, which represents more than 151,000 osteopathic physicians and medical students, promotes public health, and serves as the primary certifying body for DOs.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists.
