400 East 1st Street Morris MN, 56267About
Miriam V. Ragab, DO, has a private practice in Buffalo, Minnesota. Prior to coming to Minnesota, she was educated and practiced in New York. A family practitioner, she specializes in women's health, weight loss, and pediatrics. She is a registered dietician in addition to her practitioner status. Oswego County in New York honored her with a HealthCare Hero award for her services to the county. Personally, I feel: "First Do No Harm"--it is INCUMBENT upon us as PHYSICIANS; stand up for what you believe in REGARDLESS of the cost--personally and professionally; LOVE what you see in the mirror, otherwise all of your efforts have been made in vain; do NOT cower in the face of money and power and HAVE FAITH that all things will come out fairly in the end. Find purpose in what you do EVERYDAY, and live today as though it is your last~~ In the words of one of the greatest physicians I have ever had the pleasure to meet, "...to make it successful, one must have PERSISTENT STAYING POWER and TENACITY OF PURPOSE"... ABSOLUTE WORDS TO LIVE BY; Thank YOU Dr. CBE, Jr!

Can asthma go away?
It is likely that what you were actually diagnosed with was a form of "asthma" that is "episodic" in nature...I call it "reactive airway disease" which is for all intents and purposes "episodic asthma"; it comes and goes depending on what you are inhaling and what your airways are reacting to; it can cause wheezing; it causes the airways to flare up which makes you wheeze, and this is what we hear on your lung exam. I see this a lot in patients around the change of seasons as their airways are exposed to new allergens; the treatment is similar to asthma, but often times, I am able to get a pt's RAD under control with a nebulizer treatment in the office and then a low dose steroid taper down; Good luck.
