Get to know Internist Dr. Bruce L. Feldman, who serves the population of New York.

Dr. Feldman decided to start his own concierge medicine business in 2009, in which he likes to focus on direct patient care while eliminating the red tape of insurance and bureaucracy of a hospital setting. He focuses on internal medicine, with special focus on heart attack and stroke prevention. By providing a specific care plan for each patient, Dr. Feldman is able to give patients the direct care they need. 

FeldMed is Dr. Bruce Feldman’s own blend of many different disciplines that promote healing and prevent disease.  Unlike the variety of disciplines and schools of thought with names as confusing as Alternative Medicine, Functional Medicine, Integrated Medicine, Regenerative Medicine and even Western and Eastern Medicine, Dr. Feldman pulls together what he feels are the best parts of each to create a practice that is singular in its approach.

After decades of delivering conventional medical care, it became clear to him that to be truly healthy requires a combination of some of the oldest medical traditions with some of the newest in technology. His Specialties include Overall Health Improvement, Regenerative Medicine, Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention, Concierge Medicine, Urgent Care, Housecalls, Quality Management, Outcomes reporting, Disease Management, utilization management, documentation and coding, skilled nursing facilities, and care management.

He was educated at Temple University and continued his studies with an internship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore VA Hospital. Later he completed a residency at Good Samaritan Hospital and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a professional member of the American College of Physicians, and the American Academy of Private Physicians. 

Dr. Feldman attributes his success to his desire to offer patient centered care by listening to his patients and understanding them. When he is not assisting patients, he enjoys cooking, photography, and golf, as well as spending time with friends and family members.
