Dr. Franklin, a highly skilled neurologist, is affiliated with BayCare Medical Group Neurology at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. He has a wealth of experience in various neurology specialties, including general neurology, multiple sclerosis, headache disorders, and neuromuscular medicine.

Dr. Franklin’s journey to becoming a renowned neurologist began with the completion of his Medical Degree from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in 1987. Following this, he undertook his internship and residency in neurology at the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, finishing in 1991. He then pursued further specialization in neuromuscular medicine, completing his fellowship at the Montefiore Medical Center in 1992.

A strong advocate for continuous learning and professional development, Dr. Franklin has earned prestigious board certifications in neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

In addition to his neurology certification, Dr. Franklin holds board certifications in electrodiagnostic medicine from the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and in headache medicine from the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties. These certifications underscore his expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions.

Dr. Franklin’s dedication to his field is further exemplified by his active involvement in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the American Headache Society.
