About

Thank you for taking the time to find out about me. I grew up in the Midwest, where I attended high school, college, medical school, internship and residency. After completing a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Yale University School of Medicine, I returned to the Chicago region, practicing all aspects of vascular and interventional radiology for the next ten years. I moved to northern California, continuing to practice all aspects of vascular and interventional radiology for the next ten years. I have always been interested in helping patients by performing surgeries using minimally invasive techniques.

I was employed by The Vein Clinics of America for 18 months. This transition has allowed me to gain considerable expertise in a truly gratifying field of medicine. Many patients and physicians still underestimate the severity of medical problems associated with varicose vein disease. Varicose veins can cause significant debilitating symptoms such as leg pain, fatigue, itching, burning, heaviness, muscle cramps, swelling, and restless leg syndrome. These symptoms often interfere with work or sleep. Fortunately, varicose vein disease can now be treated using comprehensive, minimally invasive approaches such as endovenous laser ablation and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy. Neither option requires hospitalization or surgery - vein stripping is no longer necessary. These procedures can be performed in the office using local anesthesia. You will be back on your feet resuming normal activities the same day! Most treatments are covered by medical insurance.

I am now in the process of opening my own practice.
