Norman Henry Silverman, MD, DSc (Med), FACC, FASE, FAHA, is a private practitioner out of Palo Alto California. Previously Dr. Silverman worked for the University of California San Francisco in Palo Alto, California. There, he was a staff member and researcher in the department of pediatric cardiology.  An expert in this field, he has published a book entitled Pediatric Echocardiography, and another book on heart disease.  An esteemed author, he has lent his voice to over 300 publications on pediatric, infant, and adolescent heart disease.  Dr. Silverman has research interests in fetal cardiac ultrasound, and he is working with doctors at Stanford University to develop a 3 dimensional ultrasound for better results.
