Dean R. Dr. Cerio co-founded East Coast Advanced Plastic Surgery (ECAPS) in 2011, along with Dr. Cyrus Loghmanee, his longtime friend and colleague. Since the inception of the practice, Dr. Mazen Bedri and Dr. Charbel Chalfoun have joined Dr. Cerio and Dr. Loghmanee. Sharing his knowledge of the topic is important to him, having published 3 major textbook chapters, and 4 medical journal articles to date. Dean Cerio, M.D. has also presented his work at 11 local, regional, and national plastic surgery society meetings.
Dr. Cerio graduated with his Medical Degree from the St. George's University School of Medicine in 2003, giving her over a decade of experience in his field. After obtaining his medical degree he completed his general surgery residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Furthering his training he completed his Plastic Surgery fellowship with the University Of Alabama Birmingham.
