Craig Dufresne, MD, FACS, FICFS, maintains his own practice with dual locations; in Fairfax, Virginia and Chevy Chase, Maryland. With expertise in craniofacial surgery and near 30 years experience, Dr. Dufresne has been a leader in the field of plastic surgery. Dr. Dufresne has been trained in microvascular and craniofacial surgery; as well as holding certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Aside from serving his patients, Dr. Dufresne has dedicated his outstanding skill and knowledge to educating future physicians; being a Clinical Professor with the esteemed Georgetown University and at Johns Hopkins University and Medical Institutions. Dr. Dufresne is also Director of the Craniofacial Program at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. His clinical research has granted him academic and institutional positions and visiting professorships at the National Institutes of Health; in addition to hospitals, universities and clinics in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. He also has a vast number of publications including a text book, "Complex Craniofacial Problems"; as well as having appeared on documentaries and other television specials. Through excellent training and hard work, Dr. Dufresne leads a successful career.
