Richard W. Barnes, DDS, maintains his own private practice located in Visalia, California. A pioneer in his field, Dr. Barnes is owner of the only surgery center in California that practices on people with special needs. He offers an array of services to his patients including Invisalign, restorative dentistry, and treats gum disease. Aside from his practice, Dr. Barnes is the forensic dentist for Tulare County and also has the honor of being Fellow of the American Board of Forensic Odontology. Well versed in the field of forensic dentistry, Dr. Barnes uses his dental science knowledge to identify unknown human remains and bite marks, using both physical and biological dental evidence. Giving back to his community, he also offers root canals on the police dogs of his area.
