Get to know Dentist Dr. Paul F. Mitsch, who serves patients in Augusta, Kansas.

Dr. Mitsch specializes in general dentistry, implantology, as well as cranial and orofacial pain. He has completed over 5,000 hours of continuing education throughout his career.

Dr. Mitsch works for Augusta Family Dentistry in Augusta, Kansas. For the past forty years, Augusta Family Dentistry has been faithfully serving the greater Augusta community with quality dental care for all ages. The practice strives to promote oral health and prevent disease with restore, replace and prevent services, all the while building long-term relationships between patients and staff.  

Dr. Mitsch received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from Washington University.

Dr. Mitsch holds several professional memberships with the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Association of Hospital Dentists, the American Orthodontic Society, the National Society of Dental Practitioners, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Orthodontics, and the Kansas Dental Association. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). ICOI membership signifies commitment to continuous study and training in the field of implantology, whether placing or restoring dental implants.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a dentist, Dr. Mitsch diagnoses and treats oral diseases, all the while promoting oral health and disease prevention.

Dr. Mitsch attributes his success to his family being supportive and giving him the opportunity to succeed. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, swimming, and farming.
