Dr. Gutierrez Mazorra completed his undergraduate degree from Northeastern University. He then attended West Virginia University, where he graduated with his Medical Degree in 1969, giving him over three decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Medical Degree Dr. Gutierrez Mazorra completed his Anesthesiology internship with West Virginia University. Driven to further his expertise, he completed his residency from the University of Alabama Medical Center. Following his internship and residency, he undertook his Pediatric Anesthesia fellowship with the University of Alabama Medical Center. Dr. Gutierrez Mazorra is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Gutierrez Mazorra currently practices with Pediatric Anesthesia Associates Inc Pediatric Anesthesia Associates, P.C. is known for providing comprehensive perioperative care for pediatric patients at Children’s of Alabama. The staff provides a wide range of pediatric anesthesia services both in the operating room and at multiple remote anesthetizing sites.
