In conjunction with his practice, Dr. Alonso is the program Director of the cardiology fellowship offered at Palmetto General Hospital and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University in the cardiology division of the internal medicine department. Recognized for his outstanding work, Dr. Alonso is also a Fellow of the esteemed American College of Cardiology.
