Dr. C. Eliezar Okirie, MBBS, MSC, FEPRM, FRCP(London), maintains a position with Hunters Moor Neuro Rehab along with a position at the University Hospital Coventry located in Coventry and Warwickshire in the United Kingdom. At Hunters Moor, Dr. Okirie is the medical lead with over 25 years of experience. A leader in his field, he specializes in neurological rehabilitation; particularly in the management of patients with traumatic or vascular brain and spinal cord injuries, as well as those with other complex neuro-disabilities including complex spasticity treatment with Botulinum toxin and intra-thecal interventions. Extremely active in rehabilitative medicine, Dr. Okirie has sat on numerous boards of medical associations including the British Society of Rehabilitative Medicine and the British Post-Polio Fellowship. In 2012, he was recognized with the Excellence Award for Community Development from the Coventry University of Nigerians; being an advocate for medical mission trips around the globe.
