Dr. Rotondo is a radiation oncologist and University of Florida Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute, located in Jacksonville, Florida. The University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute is the first treatment center in the Southeast U.S. to offer proton therapy and provides cancer care to Florida residents, as well as patients from the region, the country and the world, delivered in a supportive, healing environment. This major clinical research facility is ranked among the top 10 proton therapy centers worldwide for number of patients treated. The University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute treats cancers of the head and neck, base of the skull, eye, lung, sarcoma, pediatrics, prostate, pancreas, pituitary, central nervous system and Hodgkin lymphoma.
