A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Arthur M. Lauretano, MD, FACS is a board-certified otolaryngologist currently serving his patients at Massachusetts Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Additionally, he also serves as an Instructor in Otology and Laryngology at Harvard Medical School. To begin his career, Dr. Lauretano graduated from Boston University with his BA in Medical Sciences and his medical degree. From there, he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After completing medical school, Dr. Lauretano completed his general surgical internship at Boston’s Beth Israel Hospital followed by his residency in Otolaryngology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School in 1993. As a testament to his success, he was awarded the Dean Eleanor Tyler Award, the Dora Savenor Memorial Prize for Excellence in Surgery, and the Internal Medicine Award. Furthermore, Dr. Lauretano is currently the President of the Medical Staff at Lowell General Hospital and is the Medical Director of the Lowell General Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Program and Clinic. He continues to teach at Harvard Medical School and also at Tufts Medical School. His clinical interests include thyroid surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, laryngeal surgery and voice disorders, including professional voice. On a more personal note, when he is not working, Dr. Lauretano enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and coaching soccer.
