Frie Nemariam, MD, maintains a position in the Lovelace Medical Group based out of the state of New Mexico. Within Lovelace Medical, Dr. Nemariam is a well-versed internist of nearly 20 years with specific expertise in serving the elderly; providing both inpatient and outpatient care with emphasis on adult medicine, chronic and acute disease management, and preventative care. Board certified by the esteemed American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Nemariam volunteers her services to the people of Northeast Africa, also conducting HIV research amongst the population. She has authored articles on her studies and has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Earlier in her career, Dr. Nemariam was the Clinical Medical Director within the Presbyterian Health Services System in Albuquerque and served as the lead internal medicine physician. Aside from her clinical work, Dr. Nemariam is currently in the process of setting up a non-profit medial foundation in her home country Eritrea which is in Africa.
