Get to know Gynecologist Dr. Neil Gladstone, who serves the population of Georgia. Dr. Gladstone completed his undergraduate degree cum laude from the Central Methodist College. He then graduated from the University of Missouri with his Medical Degree in 1968, giving him over five decades of experience in his field. After graduation he completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.Gladstone then spent two years on active duty with the United States Air Force with the rank of Major. During his tenure, he established a specialty service for Pregnant Diabetics. Dr. Gladstone is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. To stay up to date in his field he remains a professional member of the North American Menopause Society, The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the International Society of Clinical Densitometry, The National Lipid Association as well as the Atlanta and Georgia State OB/GYN Societies, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Gladstone currently practices at his private practice MyOBGYN, PC, and is affiliated with MyOBGYN, PC. Obstetrician-gynecologists (OB/GYN) are physicians who possess special knowledge, skills and professional capability in the medical and surgical care of the femaFfamille reproductive system and associated disorders, enables them to serve as consultants to other physicians and as primary physicians for women. Obstetrics and gynecology is a broad and diverse branch of medicine, including surgery, management of the care of pregnant women, gynecologic care, oncology, and primary health care for women. Most OB/GYNs are generalists and see a variety of medical conditions in the office, perform surgery, and manage labor and delivery. Office practice consists of providing women with preventive examinations and other primary care and identifying gynecologic problems.
