Talaat H. Mohammed, MD, has a private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana. He specializes in psychiatry and psychoanalysis for children, adolescents, and adults. He is Chairman of Child and Adult Psychoanalysis of the New Orleans Psychoanalytic Institute, and also serves Tulane University School of Medicine in his spare time. In 2004, he was elected a pioneer of healthcare reform from the Physicians' Advisory Board from Congress. Earlier in his career, Dr. Mohammed was Captain in the United States Navy for 21 years. He was also an Aviation Medical Officer, as well as, participant in the United Nations Development Country for Developing Nation in Conjunction with the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology Project Token for 14 years.
