About

Russell G. Knudsen, MBBS, FFMACCS, is a cosmetic surgeon focusing on the treatment of hair loss. He launched The Knudsen Clinic in 1984 with the aim to provide patients with treatment for hair loss that is effective, undetectable, affordable, and based on scientific research. He now has clinics in Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney in Australia and Auckland, New Zealand and has performed over 6,000 hair transplants over 30 years of business. Dr. Knudsen studied at the University of New South Wales and attained certification from the prestigious Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. A member of the Australasian Medical Association, he was honored with Golden Follicle Award by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery for all of his outstanding work in his field.
